Notes
Martin and Steven were in Kilwanire, their intention was to meet with the selected water user committee and all the local leaders, to teach their roles and responsibilities before the borehole drilling. In their discussion with the selected water user committee, they decided that every home contribute three thousand shillings for their borehole account. The total number of homes in that village are 96 times 3000=28800. To make it 300000, the Chairman LC1 for that village, he decided to add twenty thousand himself. Martin and Steven was so encouraged for the good work going on in that community as well as the village. And another interesting news, is that the community members decided to select another water user committee, because they sow that, the other committee which was selected was not so active, that is way now the work is becoming easier. After that the group decided to walk around the village, their intention was to see the improvement of the sanitation facilities. Generally according to what going on in that village, they is some improvement. Because they are busy smearing their houses and constructing their dish racks and they are using them. As kibo is still working in that village, the group walked around in 25homes, because they are close to each other.
