Notes
Alex updated the final evaluation with the homes that constructed new facilities mostly new hand washing stations. It was observed that many of the homes had maintained their sanitation and hygiene. He also met with 5 water user committee members and a builder to discuss the design of the new wall fence to be constructed. The community has worked together and contributed money to buy more bricks and sand needed to construct the fence. The official commissioning of the new borehole was agreed to be done when the new stoves program is done, so it will be a combined celebration to commission both activities in the community in presence of the government officials. The borehole wall fence is expected to start next week when kibo group sends in its help. The water and sanitation committee was encouraged to continue emphasizing a safe water chain in Butabira village.
