Notes
Harriet and Alex Bamulumbye first walked home to home mobilizing participants for the meeting. Later own the community turned up for the meeting and kibo staff introduced the program to the community. The community leaders had divided the community into two groups because the village is too big. Kibo begun with the first group. The meeting was very interactive whereby participants freely participated in sharing the challenges they go through as they cook on the traditional open flames fire like fire accidents, lack of firewood which has caused a lot of firewood safety, food delaying to get ready among others and this has caused a lot of domestic violence. During the meeting the community also gave a live example of one child Hakiram 7 years who got burnt as a result of open flames and sustained injuries. The community was receptive to the program because it will help them to overcome such challenges. Because of time she was not able to meet the second group and promised to meet them the following week on Wednesday 8/9/2021.
