- Diana and Ida went to Bukudhumira to teach about Poultry lesson(feeding of chicken). We got when the people were returning from the gardens since it has been raining in the villages. When they gathered, the Chairman thanked everyone for attending in person. He also told the people that Margret had lost a daughter to Covid in Bugiri. It was surprising how the people of Bukudhumira came putting on masks. They all believed that Covid is real. Ida started by thanking everyone for attending the lesson. She told them to keep wearing masks, so that they save their lives. Ida talked about the feeding of chicken, the types and quantity of food given to the chickens. The lesson was interactive as the community members kept asking questions and they were answered. It is from here that Swaibu the secretary requested Ida and Diana to go and see his chicken which he had bought after being inspired by the poultry lessons that community empowerment taught them. This was so good. Diana and Ida thanked Swaibu for the good work and encouraged the rest of the members to do so.
