Suzan went to the village and found all the local leaders attending a village meeting. Partrick the l.c.1 chairperson managed to talk to Suzan about what was going on in the meeting.
He said they were trying to solve some criminal cases concerning some young men who had started stealing house properties and food from residents within the community.
He requested some of the active participants in the program to walk around the village and follow up on the improvements of the program facilities. Suzan walked along with Angela and Monica while checking on different facilities, on the way Suzan observed that some members had neatly improved on their facilities such as smearing both the fuel stoves and the houses.
She also came across two elderly couple cooking who had just received a new improved stove but had not yet begun cooking on it. This couple had a very organized and neat home which was so encouraging to see. Suzan advised them not to first cook on the stove until it made one full month because it would have dried up well by that time.
The women also informed Suzan how they had already chosen the next member to receive a fuel efficient stove. Most of the members had not yet started cooking on their new stoves because they had not yet turned one month.
She kept on encouraging them to continue repairing and smearing all their buildings so that everything looked neat. She then thanked Angela and Monica for walking her around the village and wished them a happy stay until the next coming meeting.
