- Ida went to Bukoma C to continue teaching about harmony and unity in marriage (communication and self control) Ida by asking a question “ What is communication? Erima said that it’s a conversation between two parties . Hope said that it’s calling someone on phone. Ida thanked them for the answers and also added them one suggestion which was explaining the term communication. Communication is a two way process of conveying information. Ida then called six members forward and demonstrated a telephone game which made everyone believe that there is a need to learn about communication. Ida told the members some of the powers of communication. Communication helps to express yourself. It also in listening and responding Also helps in understanding and responding to people in their style. Ida also taught about controlling ourselves. She asked ms Nakadama to read from the book of James 3:2-12 which talks about the Tongue. The members were happy and were connecting the scripture to their daily lives and thanked Kibo for the great life lessons. Ida encouraged the community members to practice self control and collaborate decisions as husband and wife as well as sharing financial responsibilities with leads to unity and harmony in marriage. Ida concluded by giving the community members some home work which will be evaluated next time. Each one to memorize Ephesians 4:29.
