ABraham and Chris went to this village and engaged the community members and leaders about issues concerning their economic activities, prior to the visit , chris had assigned the community members to identify the available resources around their homes that they can use to uplift themselves economically. It was an interesting engagement because every one had identified atleast one resource/raw material to start an income generating activity. The most identified resource was land, the community members reported that they can use the land for commercial farming as a community plus other activities like saving , the chairman Mr David pledged to support the community with seeds incase the community resolves to start farming. Chris was so impressed how the community was able to identify available resources they could use to start up income generating activities, for it is through lessons the mvule program has been conducting in the community that the community is now able to realize their potential to uplift themselves econimically however, chris encouraged the community not to stop at identifying resourses but to make a step forward and utilise them. Abraham emphasized on community unity, he said kibo came in the community to unite members for development, he said the economic activity lessons are very important so everyone should make sure they attend meetings whenever their is a lesson going on. Chris will continue guiding the community through which economic activity is suitable in the area.
