Notes
Tape went to the village to continue teaching the members how to build their own stoves, follow up on stove building and construction of the firewood storages in the kitchens. She arrived on time and meet some participants had already stamped the dirt and carried it inside the kitchen where they were going to build the stove. She asked the participants to walk with her first to check on smearing progress and firewood storages which would guide her lesson for the day. During the home visits she found when some people had started smearing their home facilities. She also encouraged those ones who were lagging behind to so. Also some participants who had weak firewood storage stands were taught how to build strong firewood storages stands and stock them with firewood. After the home visits,Tape entered into the kitchen with few active members and began guiding them as they built a stove on their own. With Tape’s guidance, they were able to build one stove. The interesting part of it there were two active men that is Bageya and Waiswa who are the active members in the program. Tape was impressed by these men and asked them to remain active and to encourage more men to join the program.
