Notes
The meeting began late as it rained in the morning hours and the members came late from their garden. There was an opening prayer and the Lc 1 gave his welcome remark .The chairperson person of the group Miss.Nabirye Margret thanked the members for turning up for the meeting. Alex B told the members that it is needful to plan how they are going to keep their groundnuts garden weed free, how to raise enough money for drugs for spraying, how they will store their groundnuts when they are ready. He also told them to think of the challenges; what they are likely to come across as they go along with their garden. He added that they need to know how they will work in their garden, how they make it and also how many days it will take them to weed the whole garden. They needed also to know the type of drugs that is needed for every stage and the amount of money that is required to finish the garden and how many times they are to spray the garden. He added that when the groundnuts are ready, there is need to know how the groundnuts will be stored like where and who will be responsible for the store. They were also told to think of how their groundnuts will be sold like packing before they are sold, also to decide who will be responsible to sell before the money is given to the treasury of their group. The members were asked to discuss that so that in the next meeting, they will find a better or final alternative that will help them on how to manage their groundnuts garden to the point of selling them.
