Suzan went to the village to teach and guide the community as they try to build the fuel, efficient stove on their own. She arrived on time and found when the members had already stamped the dirt and taken it inside the kitchen.
Suzan was so amazed to find the young adolescent children both girls and boys participating in the stove building process. One of the parents who was also an active member in the program commented that it was very important to involve young children in some community development activities since most of them were affected by the covid-19 country lockdown and were just sitting at home doing nothing.
Suzan first guided the members how to cut and level the banana stems which were going to be fixed in the stove, and then went inside the kitchen with some active members and began building the stove. It was mainly built by the community members as Suzan guided them through out until they finished it.
They were so grateful for the lessons taught that day and Suzan encouraged them to keep practicing on their own until it would be perfect. She also requested them to continue smearing all their buildings while constructing and repairing their spoilt facilities. She thanked them for participating and the meeting came to an end.
