Notes
Tom left jinja for Mpumiro but on reaching Busembatya, he received a call from the chairman that he had lost his elderly neighbor and that it was hard for triggering to take place. Tom made a,call to Mpumiro village to check on the progress made on the construction of the borehole wall fence. He spoke to the water user committee chairman and Tom met him and other three members. Tom advised the committee members that the wall needed to extend in some areas and also guided them on how to install the metallic frame. The general observation was that the wall so far has been constructed well. Tom also met with the borehole caretaker and encouraged him to be active on making sure that people respect the rules of the borehole as well as using clean jericans to collect water.
