Notes
Enock and Keneth made a visit to conduct a second evaluation survey and know the actual percentage of latrine construction, dish rack, shower areas, kitchen areas, rubbish pits, hand washing facilities and emphasize proper usage of all the facilities. They also took the second batch of jerrycans to those homes which a have completed the construction of hand washing stands. They walked around homes checking in the progress of sanitation improvements but they couldn’t finish the survey due to rainfall which started during while they were walking around conducting the second evaluation survey. They ran to the chairman’s home and couldn’t continue with the evaluation survey. They will continue conducting the evaluation survey on Friday this week to complete the survey. We had a meeting with some community members who had come to the chairman’s for a general meeting to talk about the progress of sanitation improvements as well as encouraging the residents to contribute the money for borehole rehabilitation.
