- Martin and Steven were in Kitukiro, their intention was to take the second batch of cement used for hand washing construction as well as to take the batch of Jerrycans. And also to check on the progress of the sanitation and hygiene improvement. Good enough, the big number of homes have worked on their new sanitation facilities like the new latrines, dish racks, kitchens, rubbish pits,shower areas and the new hand washing stands. Even if other families have been lagging behind to work on their new home facilities. The group was so much encouraged to see that some have worked on them. For example Living Mulinda, worked for the new hand washing stand and the new dish rack, Kiika Irimba, he worked for the new dish rack and he maintained the old kitchen, Jastine Steven Wailugala, worked for the new hand washing stand and she is in the process of plastering it and Ezekiel Mayengo, worked for the new hand washing stand, it’s already plastered and their using it. Really they are busy working on their new hand washing facilities, because they have seen the value of them. And the group was encouraging those who are still lagging behind to work on their new hand washing stands, to increase the speed to work on them and they are willing to work As kibo is still working in that community as well as the village, the group walked in 35homes.
