Diana went to Bulyowa A to carry out evaluation on domestic violence and to introduce the lesson of school dropouts. Diana got the community already gathered. The chairman mr. Waiswa welcomed the community and requested Mbeiza to open with a word of prayer. Mr. Bwire the Secretary thanked everyone for attending in person. He said the lessons of community empowerment have greatly impacted the community of Bulyowa. Diana thanked them for their commitment. She encouraged them to always keep time and put on masks. Covid is still there. Diana took them through the evaluation of Domestic violence. Mpata one of the community members, said that since this lesson started, his home is living in peace, there is mutual understanding between the two couples. He said that this lesson has not left their community the same. Waiswa said for him, he used not to talk to his wife because she used to beat his daughter whom he came with from the past relationship, but after attending the lesson of domestic violence, he sat down with his wife and ironed their problems. They are now living happily. Sumaya said that she had given up with her marriage and she wanted to file for a devorce, but after attending the domestic violence lesson, her marriage was restored. She was too grateful to Kibo as an organization and community empowerment lessons. These testimonies were owe some. Diana thanked everyone for the wonderful updates the community gave. She encouraged them to continue with the love and harmony they have towards their families. Diana later introduced the lesson of school dropouts to the community. She asked them what they understand by the word school dropouts. Dongo Micheal, said that it is when children fail to complete school. Diana thanked him for his good answer. She told them that school dropouts has many causes and they will be taught in the next visit. The evaluation went on well, although it took long, it was worth it. The secretary thanked Diana and the Kibo team for loving them and helping them out of darkness. Bulyowa now has light in their community. Meaning it is a beautiful place to stay in now, since crime rates have reduced due to the community empowerment lessons.
