Jeska went to Igerera A to continue teaching participants how to build stoves. She found when the participants had already gathered all the materials needed to build stoves. They had already identified Loy as the participant to get a stove for the day. Kibo staff inspected her home facilities and they were all smeared meaning that she qualified for a stove.
Kibo staff measured and mixed the dirt and grass at a ratio of two to one, sprinkled water on it and together with the participants stamped the dirt until it got ready.
Kibo staff taught the participants how to measure banana stems that will be used to build stoves whereby one of the participants Sadat participated in the lesson which was so encouraging for men also to pick interest in practically participating.
Kibo staff built a stove as she explained the whole process to the participants and encouraged them to keep on participating because practice makes perfect.
