Notes
Jeska and Harriet were in Igerera A village to continue teaching participants how to practically build stoves. The participants had already identified two members to get stoves on that day ( Kawa George and Christine Wamulambi) because that had all the home facilities smeared and were active participants in the program. Kibo staff divided the participants into two groups were by each staff joined each group in one home. This time the participants participated in mixing the dirt and grass at a ratio of two to one and stamped it until it got ready. Kibo staff built two stoves with little participation from the community as they explained the hole process. The men also actively participated and showed much interest in the program. Kibo staff asked the participants to always participate and ask questions where they don’t understand because the program aims at empowering them with a skill of building stoves that will lead to program sustainability. Kibo staff also encouraged the participants to call more community members to join the program since the program is for entire community not a few members in the village.
