- Notes
- Abraham met forty two Butamoga community members and they discussed about their idea of growing Gnuts together as a group. They looked at how to get land, cultivating, buying seeds, weeding, storing and the market. They said they have already got the seeds but they hope to hire a piece of land which is 3 acres to start with and after that they are going to learn a lesson in future whether to have more acres. They walked around and found many members using the saving stoves. They are keeping their bore hole clean and they have a policy that if anyone comes with a dirty jerrycan on the borehole to collect water they make him or her to clean their jerrycans before they collect water, they brought sand at the bore hole to help those people clean their jerrycans.
Abraham thanked the members for helping the next village building saver stoves for them and he told them that on 9/5/2018 they will be having all Kibo staff and visitors. They said let this be their celebration since they have been thinking about it. They started contributing money and they got fifteen thousand shillings, also others were promising to send their money. They want to invite all district officials to celebrate with them that day.
