Notes
Martin and Steven were in Namusita, their intention was to conduct the third evaluation. But unfortunately, in that community as well as the village, they lost a child and the barrio was taking place on that day. So Martin, Steven and the village leaders, decided to have a brief meeting, to discuss about the sanitation programs. And to discuss another day for the third evaluation and to see that those are still lagging behind to work on their new latrines and the hand washing stands, can work for them. So the group decided to conduct the third evaluation, maybe next week or but one. And after completing the meeting, as the community members, was planning to go for the barrio ceremony and it was not yet time, and the barrio place was in the down side of the village. The group decided to work around the upper side of the village, to check on those are digging their new pit latrines and constructing their new hand washing stands. Generally, they are busy digging their new pit latrines and other sanitation facilities for a example Isima Saja, he worked for the new shower area, it’s remaining to put a cement at the top, Macheal Saja, he worked for the new kitchen, but it was not easy to convince him to construct it, since kibo started working in that village, Musumba Moses Kabazinga, he worked for the new hand washing stand, he also maintained the shower area and Moses Wailogo, he is digging a new pit latrine, it’s 12ft deep and he is continuing to make it 40ft deeper. So the group was just encouraging those who are still working on those facilities, about the standards and the speed, to complete that work, so that they can do other things.
