- Maria went to Nawampiti to carry out a home to home visit mobilizing community members to come for Healthy education meetings in their village. The chairperson and the VHT were found at the meeting venue, together with Maria they moved the whole village mobilizing members, checking on the general hygiene of the community, encouraging the pregnant mothers to go for antenatal care and also to come for healthy education meetings and also informing everyone the venue, day, time the meeting shall be taking place. During our walk, we came across Nankwanga staying in a small hut with a lot of bed burgs, Nankwanga shared this after Maria introducing her self as a health educator working with Kibo and asking her to come in the meeting. Maria advised Nankwanga to buy insecticide to spray and also keep the house clean, iron all the beddings and also come in the health meetings so that she can get more knowledge on how to avoid and prevent cases related to this. The community members were so excited to see another program from Kibo in their village, they promised to come and attend the meeting.
