- Keneth visited kisimu village to check on progress of sanitation improvements, continue helping and guiding residents construct sustainable facilities like latrines, bath areas ,dish racks , and specifically on hand washing stands construction and usage.and also take a second batch of Kibo jerrycans for hand washing. He took walks with the chairman lc one of the village together with VHTs around a few homes where he met mr kipini whose latrine was in 3ft under the ground level on the last visit and keneth health educated him about the dangers that may arise due to such a condition and advised him to construct anew pit latrine and on this subsequent visit he had started off his pit.they further met madam yerusa who had constructed a new hand washing stand and delivered a Kibo jerrycan for hand washing purpose and health educated her on how to use and maintain. They also took visit on their part of the village to continue helping,advising,guiding and sensitizing members on these facilities construction where keneth advised a lady on the benefits of a bath area being open roofed so that it dries better with a provision of a drainage and soak pit to minimize and control communicables like UTIs and other infections since women have to squat. They went further helping community members how to site the hand washing stands near their latrines.
