Notes
Martin and Steven were in Kitukiro, their intention was to meet with the residents, teaching them the borehole role and responsibilities, to all community members. But Because it rained at night and it’s a harvesting season, they reached when the residents was still in their gardens. Martin, Steven and the village leaders decided to walk around the village to check on the remaining home facilities, especially dish racks. But good enough, those who have been lagging behind to work on them, they have worked on them like Kaima Matege, he worked for the new dish rack and roofed the kitchen and Macheal Mukaya, plastered the hand washing stand. As their intention was to meet with the community members, they walked in 15homes and went back to the meeting place. And even if was a busy day, but they came in a big number. In the chairman’s speech, he was just appreciating kibo for the good going on in that community as well as the village. And he was also encouraging the community members to listen very well to the borehole responsibilities and continue maintaining their new home facilities. The kibo staff, taught them the role and the borehole responsibilities. They said they are willing to follow the borehole role because it’s to be their borehole, not kibo’s borehole.
