Enock and Steven made a visit with the Team from Draco Borehole drilling company to carry out a water survey for the new borehole site in this community. When they arrived, they walked around the village before the meeting to start the water survey site which has enough water. As the meeting started, Enock and Steven told the community residents to be calm and wait for the process survey of surveyors to tell us which point has more water enough for the whole community. They emphasized unity, cooperation and work hard amongst the leaders and all the community members during this time. Since o some people may feel bad to take the borehole to the other section of the village. The chairman and all residents promised us that they will be calm during this process. After we walked to the areas selected by the community with the DRACO surveyors to check if those places have water. We managed to go to 6 point which the surveyors check to choose one point which had enough water and it’s actually in the middle of the village. The community members where super excited and appreciative for the process. The women mostly thanked kibo for also considering them, because they have been walking many kilometers for water. We told the community to stay United continue maintaining the sanitation and hygiene of the community and continue working together for the best of their community. 

Next Visit

2021-11-29 - Purpose: Tom will be going to continue meeting with the local leaders taking them through the process of contributing money for borehole wall fence.
