Notes
Enock made a visit to meet with the local leaders, encourage them to mobilize the residents for the upcoming triggering session. During the visit, they teamed up with all the leaders to walk around the community mobilizing the residents to come for the triggering session which will take place on 24th November. They emphasize on the importance of sanitation and hygiene, evaluated the current sanitation status.
As we walked around we found some home still practicing open defecation, broken latrines, some have latrine holes but not constructed with structures, some homes latrines are full and need new ones, this gave us an opportunity to welcome all of them to come and learn the core values of proper sanitation and hygiene. There was a good response from most of the community residents are appreciating the program and willing to come and learn.
The chairman Mr ogema and his team of local leaders were happy to receive the kibo program of water sanitation and hygiene. Enock told the community residents that when we finish triggering in sanitation and all homes have 100% latrine coverage, kibo will contribute a percentage to repair their broken borehole.
