Notes
Diana went to Bulyowa A, to continue with the assessment of the community empowerment lessons. Since it had rained the previous night, most people were still in gardens. Diana utilised her time to move around some five homes, although they were just coming from the garden, their compounds were clean and the husbands too demostrated respect to their wives, found some of them ferrying water for their wives, that was in Bwire home, Gonza’s home. Got Mpata splitting fire wood for the wife whi is expecting. This was very impressing to community empowerment program unlike before when men used not to help their wives with home chores. Diana headed to the meeting place found some of the community members waiting for the lesson, a heavy down pour was coming, Diana didnot waste she started from the previous discussion of the mothers in-law and daughters in-law. Diana told tge commuinity that tge most important thing is to excercise love towards themselves, mothers in law love respect and same thing should be transfered to the daughters in law. Sabasi said, that it happens to only town people and not to the rural setting, Diana disagreed with him saying love doesnot know whether you are in rural communities or urban communities, therefore there is no excuse about that, people have to live in love as Jesus did. As Diana went on with the discussion, big drops of rain satrted falling and the women started running to go and get their produce which they had put to dry, leaving Diana behind. Diana also got into the car and left, because it started pouring heavily she could not continue.
