- Alex B discussed with community members about economic projects/activities. It was about the assignment he left with them to identify projects that can be done together for development. The meeting began with prayer as usual and there after the Lc1 James welcomed everyone for the meeting.Zaina the chairperson of the community members asked the community to respond to the assignment that was left with them.The assignment was that all make research about the the project to be done with local resources within the community.Merry her view was that local chickens can do better if they raise money and buy each a chicken.Godfrey said that haring land or if one could offer acre of land and plant groundnuts could earn them money as a community.The other community members also suggested that saving money will lead them to loaning scheme. Saving scheme will help them as individuals and a community. The community will save money that will be given out to the community members depending on the saving.They also suggested to plant trees that will help the make bricks.Trees once planted it will be long term projects for the community and it require them hire land for good number of years. Alex B thanked the community members for input about the assignment.He advised them on the issues they raised out that the resources are within the community. He pointed out like land almost every one has land or piece of land.The community economic project should be for people that contribute resources together. He added that even their presence contribute a lot to development. Labor is important and yet it is themselves to a avail and do the work and is also local resources.To do the project of farming,he advised to identify the crop that so well in the community and decide how big the project and also how much to will cost them. The next meeting,we shall discuss the projects that will be done by community members,and how they will facilitate them .The community will identify the sources of resources for the community economic projects.
