Notes
Tape went to the village and continued encouraging the participants to smear their buildings in preparation for the stove building lessons. During the home to home visit, tape observed that most kitchens were not smeared both from the outside and inside parts and also the some roofs needed to be repaired because they were leaking. She informed the members how it was impossible to build a fuel efficient stove in a poorly constructed kitchen which has openings at the roof and cracked walls. This was because once when it rains, the stove can easily be damaged and the walls can collapse during stove building. She therefore encouraged all the members to first repair all their facilities especially smearing their buildings. The members accepted the idea and promised to do so as soon as possible because many of them were eager to receive the new improved stove.
