Notes: Enock made a visit to conduct the last evaluation in hand washing. He walked around the community with the chairman and VHT of the village to see clearly how many hand washing stands where constructed and used as he updated the third evaluation survey. There has been a tremendous impact of hand washing in this community, many families have embraced the sanitation improvements more so hand washing stands. As we continued walking around, we encouraged the use of soap or detergent while washing hands so that they reduce the spread of diseases which are spread through poor personal hygiene. There are so many residents who testified to us and said this new hand washing model which is more climatic friendly and sustainable since they use cement, sand and bricks. There are many new latrines constructed with cement and sand in this community, this shows how the residents have taken the initiative to invest and construct good and strong facilities even when kibo wash team is not on ground. There has also been a great increase in sanitation improvements in the whole community. The chairman also appreciated the program and thanks kibo for such a wonderful program.

Next Visit: 2022-01-21 - Purpose: The community is on self progress and we shall be visiting or call once in a while to check on the status of the community.
