Purpose of the visit in Naibowa village, Manuela went to Naibowa village to teach about the steps in making good decisions for life. This lesson is intended to educate the participants that it’s good for everyone to have a decision in everything that they plan to do. Manuela reached the village but she didn’t find anybody at the meeting place, she decided to go to the mobilizer so that to remobilize the participants so that they can come for the lesson. Manuela and a woman called Jane mobilized participants but unfortunate some of them had gone for vaccinations, but they were able to find some members who later managed to come for the lessons. After that exercise, Manuela and Jane came back to the meeting place. After some good minutes, participants came, Manuela asked the participants questions about the previous lessons, then one of the participants said that madam, we have not prayed, then Manuela requested for one volunteers to pray, after that she continued with the questions about their previous lessons, participants told Manuela that , they learnt steps in making good decisions but they were disrupted by rain and they did not finish but Lorna told them that they will continue with that lesson in the next visit. Manuela reviewed the previous lessons, she asked them what are some of steps in making good decisions? They sighted answers like prayers, count up to ten, think about the situation, they told Manuela that, that is where they stopped. After that exercise Manuela now continued with the lessons where Lorna stopped, while she was teaching this lesson, Manuela, explained to the participants that Decision making is the process through which an individual decide on what is good and wrong, she went on and told them that in life, it’s good for a person to come up with decisions for his plans. Manuela continued explaining to them that, while making a decision, they must put in mind the steps used while making good decisions for example Manuela told them that they should consult other people while making decisions because those people may help them to advise you but they should not decide for you, think about the situation, listen to the advice given, consider family, religious and cultural values before deciding to avoid problems finally Manuela explained to them that they need to accept the consequences to avoid regret in feature. Manuela asked them if they had ever made any decisions and it didn’t work out for them, they said yes like one person said that she wanted to study but due to other circumstances she couldn’t make it, another one said that he made a decisions to get married and now it’s a problem to him they all laughed at him. Manuela told them to that. Manuela asked the participants , what are your plans for next year? One of the participants said we do have but it needs privacy then we can share it with you. Manuela asked them how many people want to share their plans?no response, she asked again how many people want to share their plans privately? they all said all of us. Manuela encouraged them to have a plan made out of good decisions. Manuela told them that when she come back in the next visit she will move home to home evaluating them on this lesson and they share with her their plans and how they will come up with clear decisions making. Finally, Manuela advised the parents to save money for school fees and scholastic materials because next year schools are opening for all students and primaries.
