Notes
Ida went to Ndalike to make a review on the previous lessons and to also talk to the chairperson together with the community members on how to involve the whole village in our weekly lessons. She reviewed the past lessons which include Trust in God, unity and harmony in marriage and domestic violence. Mugote George talked about putting his Trust in God helped him live in harmony with the neighbors. When he lost his daughter, he knew that no one caused the death but it was her time. But all was because Kibo taught lessons about Trust in God where he learned that God was Lord of everything! Kyokali talked about harmony in marriage, her husband has changed into a good caring husband because of the lessons. Fred Kisame reconciled with his father after attending the lesson about God’s forgiveness where the story of the lost son impacted most members. Batuli testified that he no longer hides the little money he has from his wife since Kibo taught a lesson about managing finances in a home. This practice brought peace in his home and the wife now is retrieving her trust towards her husband. Tapenensi remembered the story of a woman who was almost killed by her husband because of rumors, she also quoted from the Bible a memory verse from Ephesians 4:29. The woman lost her baby and marriage because of speaking before sieving what we speak. After the review Ida asked the chairperson to start the motion of how shall the whole village attend the weekly lessons. Members shared different opinions and as a group they came to the compromise. Minsa promised to invite a women’s group which meets every Friday to come and join. Fred too will invite the parish executives to attend the lessons . So the community members agreed that the day will change from Wednesday to Friday and from a mango tree to a school. The chairperson Anthony Tatyaise is responsible for mobilizations and telling members the new venue for the meeting.
