- The community of bulyowa has managed to maintain their high standard of hygiene and sanitation because every home has a toilet in place. They also have an association called bulyowa muvule association which has united the members together.

- Kibo staff were not able to elect the water committee because of the registration of all school children going on around the entire Uganda,therefore majority of the parents were at different schools registering there children. Therefore Kibo and the community members proposed the water meeting next week Monday.30/10/2017 when every one will be present around the village.

- It was just a village meeting but not a repair. The purpose of the meeting was to bring the two committee's for both boreholes on board and informing them of the next steps to take to fix the wells. Unfortunately the members turned up in small numbers as most of them had taken their children for registration at the school. The few members who turned up agreed to another meeting scheduled for the 30th October. They hope every body will be present that day

Bulyowa B borehole has no soak pit but has a fence.
This is another soak pit to one of the boreholes.
The above borehole in the photo is called upper bulyowa nakavule borehole.it was very dirty, with no fence and has less members on the committee. Kibo staff will help them to re elect a full committee.
