Abraham and Alex B met Kitukiro community members to finish the lesson of opening of community account and introduce the new lesson of decision to receive goats. The chairperson Mss Base told the meeting that they did all the research about banks in Kamuli town and found out that centenary bank is the choice for them but they realized that they have little money to start saving in the bank. The savings they are doing is of giving out soft loans to the members. They need also to get money for buying firewood to burn the bricks and that leaves them with small money in the treasury. They hope when they burn the bricks and sell them they will have enough money to open a community account. Abraham and Alex B encouraged the community to continue doing what is fit by the time. They have to continue discussing about opening of a community account and they have to see that it is necessary or not. This comes may be when they have much money whereby it becomes hard to keep the money in the house. They asked the members about how many bricks they have made so far but the one with records was not around to give the exact number of the bricks because some gets broken. They introduced the new lesson of decision to receive goats and the all members were excited. One of the community member called Mambewa Simon told the meeting that for him he has been in some training how to keep animals, birds and he hope to help the community how to keep the animals and birds. He said that in order to keep the animal health there three things they have to put in mind. 1- Treatment, he said animals are like human beings whereby they need treatment when they fall sick. 2- Having feeds, they have to start planning how they are going to feed goats like planting grass for them. 3- Shelter for keeping them, they need to have good places where they keep their animal for safety, for example good animal house and they need to clean them because when they sleep in dirty places they get sick. He told the community that for him he planted some grass for the animals, he would like each member to have a portion where he or she will plant the grass and he is willing to give them to plant before they receive goats. The suggested that they are going to mobilize all the seventy six members to attend the next meeting. The next visit all the community members will attend and discuss the discussion to receive goats.
