- Maria went to Nawandyo A to make review of the lessons and also discuss with the chairperson and the committee about the new approach of the lessons in this community. The chairperson thanked members for coming and Rose opened the meeting with a word of prayer. Maria was invited to speak to the community members. Maria thanked the members for turning up, introduced the topic of the as reviewing all the lessons that have been taught. Meridah mentioned Accessing medical services, she said that before this program ( community health education) people used not to go to hospital but now after Kibo connecting the community to the near by hospital, members know what to do,Family planning basically the methods that was taught to the community, it’s benefits, seeing and touching most of the different types of family planning methods said Saida. Members mentioned all the topics and discussed what was advised by the Kibo staff. Maria encouraged members to embrace the lessons, put whatever they learn into practice, and also sustain the knowledge that Kibo gives the community. Maria still discussed with the members the new village approach, informing the community members that Kibo want to see the biggest percentage of the community members transformed. She told members that the village meeting point shall be divided into two points. The chairperson Mr Dan welcomed the idea and he committed him self to be one of the mobilizers for the upper section. The idea was welcomed by the members and members chose Friday as the best day for upper section. Moses ( the health assistant Mayuge district) a husband to one of the active member decided not to go to mayuge for his duties because he has been hearing about Kibo and it’s program. Moses appreciated Kibo for the services, effort, love and knowledge extended to Nawandyo A, he still encouraged the members to attend the lessons,put the knowledge given into practice. The meeting ended with a word of prayer from Saidah.
