Diana and Ida went to Igerera B to make a review of the previous lesson and talk to the chairman and community members on how the lessons will go. The chairman welcomed Diana and Ida in his community. He thanked everyone for attending in person. He went ahead to tell the community members to encourage their neighbors to attend the lessons. Diana and Ida were happy to meet this community. Diana told the community of Igerera B, that Kibo as an Organization loves them so much and they should also show that they are ready to embrace its programs. Diana went ahead to ask them their expectations this 2022, Nguluka, said that this 2022, he expects very many women to attend the community empowerment lessons. He went ahead to tell the women that they should not be stupid, they should open their ears and mind to internalize everything that is taught to them. He said that community empowerment is a God sent program to their community that is going to save many marriages and improve the character of their children. Tibiwa said that she expects to benefit a lot from the community empowerment programs. She went a head to say that the the Harmony and unity in marriage lessons have already created an impact to her family. This was good news to Ida and Diana. Diana encouraged her to elaborate on that, since she was already reviewing the previous lesson. Tibiwa said that her husband respects and loves her with the children. He at times cooks for them. This prompted an applause from the community members. Diana encouraged them to keep attending the lessons, because it will greatly transform their community. Ida added on that unity in marriage is very important to the families and their children. Always keep a humble heart and promote love in your families. Ida told the men to love their wives and the women to respect their husbands. The mentality of pointing fingers to one another is wrong. This vice has promoted many quarrels and fights among the marrieds. Nabirye Sarah responded that it is true, their husbands slap them before their children. It is from here that she called upon community empowerment program to help them. Ida responded saying that this issue will be handled with the help of the victim. Mr. Kamya Charles the L.C 1, appreciated the community empowerment for the enlightenment it has brought to their community. He said that there are other members who have not attended because they are heavily pregnant while others have to move long distances. Ida and Diana told him that they will devise means to reach to those people. The chairman mr Kamya Charles thanked Diana and Ida for their teaching them. He closed with a word of prayer.
