- Purpose of the visit, Manuela went to Kagulu village to mobilize community members and also to remind them about Life Skills program resuming soon. This exercise is very important because it give time for the participants to prepare themselves up to the lessons day to be ready. Manuela reached the village found Mussa the mobilizer waiting for her, she greeted him and asked him for rest of mobilizer, he responded to Manuela that they are around but they will join them soon, but let them start mobilizing because it’s too hot, Manuela and Mussa moved home to home mobilizing the participants and also informing them about resuming life skills program. While Manuela was mobilizing people, she also inspected some of the home facilities and she encouraged the mothers who are not using their stoves to use it because it has a lot of advantages. Manuela also talked to some parents whose children are still at home, she encouraged them to take their children to school. Manuela told them that next time she comes back, she wants to see all students are at school, she also told them that it’s their responsibility to educate their children and buy all scholastic materials. After that home, Manuela continued with the mobilization, while she was walking with Mussa, she was asking him about how Christmas holidays went , he said good, no domestic violence etc. Finally, Manuela told Mussa to continue with the mobilization because some participants were still in their garden and they did not meet them.
