Martin went to Ituba Namalowe, his intention was to meet with the local leaders, to share about wash program to improve hand washing in that community as well as the village. To mention the values of hand washing, to encourage the local leaders, to mobilize the village for hand washing triggering on the a greed data. And also to move around the village, to assess how the village have maintained the sanitation and hygiene. Good enough, the day was good, because Martin reached to the village, when the Chairman LC1, his executive, the sanitation committee members and other residents, was waiting for him at the meeting place, because he called the chairman LC1 before living Jinja. The chairman LC1 and the group, welcomed him in a happyness way, because they new kibo very well and they know kibo’s hard working. After that they had an opening prayer by Hassan Isabirye. After that they had a speak from the Chairman LC1, in his speech, he was just appreciating kibo’s work in that village. Because sanitation was done, the new borehole was drilled and the saving stoves was done. After that, Martin introduced the hand washing program and every one was so happy, hear about washing hands mainly after visiting their latrines. Because they told him that, when Covid 19, entered to Uganda, in the government policy, every one was forced to wash his hands to prevent COVID-19 and the hall group said they are willing to work with kibo in hand washing program.
