Chris went to this community to guide the community as they elected their project committee because the Mvule community development program stipulates that the community shall elect a project committee to spearhead the daily activities of the project , this committee involves seven members who include the chairperson, vice chairperson, cashier, assistant cashier, secretary, purchasing manager and one mobilizer.prior to the elections Chris first explained the roles and responsibilities of each member on the project committee because he wanted the community to examine every candidate and make an informed decision, this method worked because all the members they elected where very competent as Willing to work for the community. The chairperson Mrs Norah Kasoga encouraged the newly elected leaders to work without expect salary but their reward should be the transformation of the community. Mrs Norah also informed Chris that the community was fully registered by the sub county with a certificate of registration as well, she attributed this to community cooperation. The vice chairperson Mr Gamali reported that the community members were very cooperative even through the festive season to see that their onions garden project flourishes and for that reason the community now has four onions nursery beds , he thanked Kibo group for providing them with a borehole where they are fetching water to irrigate their nursery bed. Mr Gamali said the community members are very hopeful that when the rains start they will transplant the seedlings to their already ploughed land. The chairperson encouraged the community households not to forget that each household was given a role to play in their garden and so they should not forget it. Chris will visit on Wednesday to introduce a new lesson on opening up group bank account.
