Notes
Abraham and the chairperson of Kazimbakujira community Mr Luke Sharply met at one of the center they decided to have a meeting since it is far from the former meeting place to continue home to home visits for the remaining 62 homes who have not been involved in the program. They met with seven community members and Abraham encouraged them to join the community in Kibo program because when they are together they can do something rather than one person. He told them a Lusoga proverb which says “Agali awalala nagaluma eigumba” which means when teeth are together they bite the bone. He encouraged them to join the all community because they want to make a difference. They welcomed the idea and promised to join the all community in Kibo program. They met a group of Boda Boda’s who were there and the chairperson Mr Luke told them to be involved in Kibo programs because they want to include everyone in the community, they were receptive and asked the day and time of the meeting. The chairperson answered them that they are going to get time of the meeting when they are all together in the meeting which will be communicated to them. They started home to home visit and they managed to reach twenty five (25) homes, as usual they met most women at home and their husbands had gone to Bugiri town to do some business. The women seemed to be receptive and they also promised to share with their husbands when they come back from work. All these homes are the ones who have not been involved in the community development. They are going to visit thirty seven homes in the lower part of Kazimbakujira where Kibo drilled a well but hit dry.
