Tom made a visit to Kalalu village to check on the construction of the borehole wall fence and to guide the builders were necessary. Tom also went with the borehole handle guide to me fixed into the wall.
When Tom arrived at the site, he found builders busy as well as some committee members helping in the mixing of cement and sand.
Tom inspected the work done and realized the builders had done a very good job. Tom helped them in the setting in of the borehole handle guide and left them to continue with the construction work.
As the builders were constructing, Tom and some of the committee members present held a meeting to discuss about the process and procedure of borehole commissioning.
Tom mentioned to them that visitors will be coming from kibo organization as well as some from the district. The committee members said they will invite the LC3 chairman and some area councilors. Tom made it clear to the committee members that feeding and taking care of the visitors was their responsibility not Kibo’s responsibility. The committee members understood their responsibilities in that. The committee members agreed that let the commissioning be held on the 9th of Feb 2022 starting from 11:00am.
