Tom made a,visit to kalalu village to meet with the committee members as well as the land owners where the borehole was drilled to sign the land agreement stating that the land on which the borehole was drilled was given by the land owners freely to the community to place a borehole and to use it. Tom was delayed some how because on of the people meant to sign on the land agreement was not in the village at that time. He later come and signed the land agreement. The young man who owns the land signed, his father, the chairman of the village as well as the chairperson water user committee. Tom on behalf of the community thanked the land owners for their generosity and understanding. The father to the boy said the decision was easy because he knows water is life and he will also benefit from it. Tom later left for the district to take the invitation letters and to get the District Water Officer sign on the land agreement. Tom also signed on behalf of Kibo group Uganda. At the district, he met the RDC who was very appreciative of the work Kibo is doing. She promised to attend the function. Tom also dropped off letters to the CAO, DCDO, DHI. The water officer was not in office but the district planner promised to contact him and let him know. Tom left for jinja.
