Notes
Alex walyomu and Chris went to this community to prepare for goats’ distribution , before any community receives goats from Kibo, the staff has to make sure the households are at least at 90% ready. This involves making sure all households have all sanitation facilities in their homes, food and shelter for goats are in place, the community is registered, having a certificate of registration and working together on their income generating activity however, all documents necessary for goats distribution have to be prepared and the government officials have to be informed in advance. As they proceeded to the community, Alex walyomu and Chris visited the sub county offices and verbally invited both the CDO and sub county chief, they both agreed to be present at the goats distribution, while in the community, Chris and Alex walyomu made sure they moved to a few homes to sample test how the community is prepared and later had a general meeting to make final touches on the documents and cross checking the names of all the community households and ad well explained to the community members what the goats distribution process involves.
