Notes
When Enock reached, he went to the chairmans home to wait for the other VHTs to join them so that they can start walking around to check on the Sanitation progress of the village as well as to continue teaching the community the benefits and importance of having a proper latrines, dish racks, hand washing facility, shower areas, kitchen areas, rubbish pits, wire lines for hanging clothes, clean compounds and use of ash in the latrines. There is some great improvements in most of the homes than before where most people used to have a lot of open defection and poor sanitation and low levels of latrine coverage. We meet some young child who was abandoned by there family, the care taker is the mother in law. The kid was in the kitchen hidden but when I saw her I got concerned because she was not in good conditions, she was malnourished, very weak and needed medical attention. On may way back to jinja, I asked them if I can take them to iganga hospital, they said it's fine. Enock managed to take them to the hospital in iganga for proper medication. The village was so appropriative for the great work we are doing.
