- Notes
- Abraham, Pattie and Brenda met thirty five Igerera B community members and they discussed about how they are going to care for their goats like treating them, sheltering them. The members decided that they are going to work together caring for the goats because it is cheaper to do so as a group than as an individual. They said they are going to talk with the animal doctor at the district so as to get more advice in looking after the goats.
They showed the members their constitution which they finished writing but they have not yet taken it to the sub county for registration. Abraham encouraged the members to work together as a group because there is power in working as a group. They went and checked one of the places where they get water from, which they also share with animals at the same time.
There some Muslims who dug a shallow well near their Mosque but it can not help much because during the drought it drys out. They are also working on their hygiene and sanitation.
