Kibo staff visited this community to deliver 55 goats to the community households in the community, the objective of giving goats to the community is to empower the community households flourish economically, this is one of ways Kibo believes communities can fight poverty. The government was represented by the District Community Development Officer of Namutumba district, Mr Isoobya who thanked Kibo group for partnering with the government in development the communities in the whole district however, he encouraged the community members not to misuse what Kibo group has given them but use the goats to empower themselves economically . Abraham who represented Kibo thanked the community for the hospitality they have exhibited throughout the years and encouraged them to maintain that kind of relationship with Kibo meanwhile ,Alex walyomu advised the community members to embrace the goats they have received with care if they are to benefit from them, he reported that soon Kibo staff shall be moving home to home to monitor the progress of the goats. On of the community members who received goats, Mrs Nabirye thanked the Kibo donors who sacrificed a lot to see that they improve the income levels of the community. Chris will go back on Friday 25/02/2022 to follow up the progress of goats and introduce the lesson on self progress.

2022-02-28 - Purpose: To meet the community and introduce a lesson on self progress , I shall also follow up on the households who received goats to see how they are progressing.
