- The day to give out 55 goats to Budumba village had earlier been scheduled for Monday 21/02/2022 and all communications made to the relevant government officials to invite them to the function in Budumba. However the day had to be rescheduled to a Tuesday 22/02/2022 having received a call from the goats supplier that he had been unable to secure all the 55 goats by Sunday morning and therefore requested for another day to deliver the goats. This meant that all appointments made with the government officials had to be rearranged. Alex went to the district and met with the probation officer, district community development officer, community development officer for Ivukula, Labour officer and the veterinary doctor. He communicated to them about the change that had taken place and he rescheduled with them. Some of them promised to attend and others said they had other engagements that day.
Alex then drove to Buluvu to meet with some leaders in the lower section to visit homes trying to engage and mobilize more people to attend the upcoming meeting scheduled for Wednesday. Together with the leaders they moved in 27 homes located in the lower section and all the people met promised to attend the meeting. Homes visits are now acting as a tool mobilize to people to attend meetings and talk to them in depth about Kibo’s activities and the need to work together. We are very hopeful this will increase this community participation in the program and be able to witness a highly transformed village by kibo group.

- There is a great community response towards the program since many of the people are promising to attend the meetings with kibo in all the homes visited while mobilizing people

- There is a great need to conduct timely planting of trees to be supplied to the community by Kibo group.

- The community leaders together with the government officials have all promised to make sure all the kibo activities done in the community are followed up and ensure people benefit out of the them by looking after them.

- The district officials are expected to attend the goats delivery exercise in Budumba by kibo group and Buluvu community leaders to continue reminding people to attend the general village meeting on 23/02/2022.
