Notes
Alex, Larry Norman, Elliot, Greg Guymer all went to Buyange for the first day of the new borehole drilling in the village. They connected with the drilling company Draco at Namutumba town as they were coming from Tororo. Together they drove to the village. It was a big surprise to the village members to see that the drilling rig had come to their village and the people were amazed and happy. Drilling began that day amidst many people that showed up to witness the drilling process. The process went on and some challenges were encountered like the collapse of the mud into the hole and a hard rock that was encountered. It was then blown out and removed all the small rocks and the mud that was causing the blockage while drilling. Water was poured into hole and this was used to blow out all the chaff in the hole. The first day of drilling ended with no water got after drilling 30M. Drilling was to continue the following morning. Alex and the team of visitors left for Jinja
