- Tom made a,visit to buyende district to meet with the district water officer to pick up the land agreements and later take them to kitukiro village. Tom met with the district water officer and his assistant Mr Ikosi who were later joined by the District Health Officer Mr Musasizi. All the district officials thanked kibo for their work in the district and the good collaboration. They all requested for more kibo efforts in the district of buyende especially in the area of water. The district water officer said buyende has the lowest water coverage in Basoga at 40%. The district health inspector also requested kibo to attend and participate in the sanitation week the district is organizing. Tom also appreciated the district’s good relationship with Kibo and sad he will take the information kibo leaders about their requests. Because of time, Tom was not able to make it to the village from the district. He came back to jinja and gave the agreements to Martin who said he will deliver the agreements to the necessary people/leaders.
