Notes
Chris and Alex bamulumbye continued with discussions on self progress ad continue following up on the progress of the goats the community received from Kibo, during the home visits , chris and Alex bamulumbye found most of the community members already in fields feeding their goats, they visited 16 homes which included mr Otim, Edison, kagoto , namukobe, Nabirye, David, Christian, Kaisu and so on. Chris and Alex observed that community members are taking care of the goats very well however there is a challenge of flu and lack of pasture for the goats since it is shining so hard, the community has to move long distances to look for greener pastures for their goats as they wait for the goats’ feeds they planted to grow. The chairperson reported that the community members have started contributing for the goats’ clinic days , he said they hope to have a meeting next week to agree on the goats clinic days. On how the community shall self progress ,the community leaders are following up the government program of parish development model, they hope to get money from the government and invest it in their saving scheme where every community members shall be getting soft loans to further develop their homesteads and indeed after the meeting Otim ( chairperson) and Edison waibi proceeded to the sub county offices where they met the CDO and the LC2 chairman to follow up on the government development program . Chris and Alex informed the community that they will be reducing number of trips they have been making , they will visit again for the goats clinic day.
