Notes
Abraham met Kitukiro community members and the purpose was to go around to check how the members are on requirements to receive goats. They moved with the chairperson Mrs Base especially to the homes the chairman LC1 said in last meeting that they are behind. They reached Mr Tofa’s home and his wife showed them a new goats shelter, she a asked if she can host the visitors who will come on the day of giving out goats because she feels she has all requirements. They went to Mr Mwamula Sahdi and found him maintaining washing stands which he was lacking in the past. They even met Mukwana Amuza who was lacking a rubbish pit and now he dug a new one. They concluded with Mr Kashigiri Paul’s home where they found he has built a goats shelter and a new dish rack. Abraham and some leaders encouraged them to smear their latrines and get ropes for goats. The chairperson LC1 was very happy that these guys have done those things, he said they were told long time but when they heard that Abraham is going to visit their homes they worked so hard to finish them. Abraham encouraged the leaders to continue moving around because some things like dish racks may be destroyed by termites as some members complained but can have used oil and smear them on the poles to prevent them. They will continue with the lesson of caring for goats following up with requirements to receive goats.
