Alex B discussed with the community about their economic income activity about their saving and loan scheme. Also to discuss with community more about the rest of the community members to participate and benefit together.To guide them how to manage their finances. Zaina the chairperson gave a welcome speech and thanked everyone for turning up for the meeting.She encouraged the community to continue saving and be faithful to the money given to those that apply for loans. The community always have their meeting on Friday and conduct saving and loan scheme. She said that the amount of money with treasury is currently a total of 882,000 UGX Alex B thanked the community for the scheme and encouraged them to continue saving their money. He urged them always to focus on the reasons they had as they began the saving and loan scheme.Asked the community the challenges they have come across since they started putting together their money and were no major issues. He also asked the community what should be done to improve the project and suggested that it was important that all people attend meetings regularly and lastly he encouraged them to ask other people to join them in this community project. The community pointed out the challenge of community keeping time for the meetings. This was resolved that before people do the saving, they have to discuss more about the project how it doing.The community agreed that to improve on the saving the members should have records about the money each save.Those that are saving should tell others the benefit of saving the money because at one time it is easy for someone to apply for a loan. Alex B suggested to them that at every time of saving,one should know her or his money with the treasury.He also advised them that saving should be done at their meeting place and the day they agreed upon to do the saving .The leaders should be ready and transparent to give information to an individual concerning his/ her money. Alex B on his way to Kalitumba made a quick stop over to kivule village since it was a clinic day for treating the goats . 18 goats were treated that day by the veterinary and the community leaders agreed to reorganize another day and have the remaining goats also be treated. It was an idea that was welcomed by the community.
