Suzan and Tape went to the lower section of the village to teach the community members how to build the fuel efficient stove. This time the demonstration was going to take place at the lower section of the village named group B.
When they got there, they found the community members already gathered at sylivia home whom they selected first to receive the stove because her kitchen was already smeared, well ventilated with a good roof. Most of her facilities were well constructed which made her to be selected first.
Kibo staff members together with the members participated in the first stove building steps such as fetching dirt from the anthill and stamping it until it got ready. Some of the steps that were carried out by Kibo staff were taking measurements of the dirt and grass by the ratio of 2:1 and building the stove. Kibo staff members began building the stove step by step while explaining to the community each process.
This helped them learn easily and also asking questions during the stove building was encouraged by Kibo staff. In the end, one stove was built and Kibo staff requested Silvia not to cook on it until it turned one month. The community members thanked Kibo staff for the lessons taught and the meeting came to an end.
